Are you truly breathing?
Step 6
Are you truly breathing? Well of course we are breathing, but we are not truly breathing because of life and stress. Truly breathing is having a sense of no fear, no depression and no unhappiness among many of negative feelings. When you have a sense of an emotion bubbling up we actually breath very shallow. Our body hardly gets to feel the air that we breath. It's almost as if we've gone into a zombie state! Not fun if you are trying to find what life is all about and what you are all about.
You want to find your life's path!
There are real ways to combat this problem...
BREATH...
Take a deep breath in and feel the air pass into your body, at the sa
me time bring your hands into your chest and push your belly out.
Now push out your breath and push your hands out into the air and your chest will rise...
Try this and see what happens.
You will feel better when your are stressed, depressed even scared...

Don't Walk Around Making Everyone... STEP 5
Don't walk around making everyone else think THEY have to make you happy! This is one of the MOST COMMON MISTAKES people think every single moment of their day.You are completely responsible in making your life happy. No one else! Not even your mother, not even your husband or wife. YOU, YOU, YOU... We get confused sometimes thinking these are the people who should make us feel happy. Hm mm...So how to then..?Go and write a list of what you love to do...Or just write one thing on the list and make the one thing big! Maybe start and get proactive with it!Your life at this moment is changing for the better. Smile:)

How to feel better about you! STEP 4

I think this is one line of words that I have seen constantly on magazine titles, and other self-help write ups. The thing is... It is extremely difficult to feel better about you, when most of the time you feel so busy to even think. Alot of us get wrapped up in other peoples problems...Your spouse, sister, mother-in-law, etc. You don't have time to think about how happy you really are!! Until one day you sit down and you think... "What the heck am I living for?" You may love life, but you are living in such a cycle of the-- "You are OK..." --stage that you haven't even noticed that your spirit is down. Somebody may ask you in passing, "Hey, how are you doing?" Because that person sounded so up, you reflect the same mannerism back. You begin to feel like your purpose on earth is to make everybody else happy... Certainly not everybody else...What about you?!
Step 4.
This is the step that needs to be focused on soooo well, that even the other steps can be overlooked if you just don't have the energy to start at the beginning. Lots of people feel they need to rush things to get to the next step. Well, we will see if you truly are ready for this step and ready to move on.
Do this NOW
- go to the bathroom and close the door
- look in the mirror at your eyes, look deep
- lovingly put your hands together and rest the side of your face on your hands
- make it look as if you are going to go to sleep on your hands
- look deep into eyes in the mirror
- say very quietly as if you are talking to a tiny baby.
- I love you --- --- You may laugh when you do this step, but when you do it over and over again with the seriousness that you would say to a consciouse baby. You will feel something you may not of felt inside yourself in a long time. Then this is when you may smile and really believe what you are saying. Doing this often, every time you go to the mirror will be something that is very special. Your spirit will rise within you and your new life energy will make you smile.
Go ahead and try it! Happiness is here to stay!

The next step in your Away Space (Step 3)

- Did my last post give you any interesting new feelings?
- Did you get a journal and write them down?
- Did you find an away space yet?
- Did you do your homework?
I wanted to ask you these questions first so that you will stay with me and follow on the right track. The right track to You finding yourself Within. I would love to give you the secret in just one post, but unfortunately it takes time to get you back.
My sister and I both are challenged everyday by what life throws at us, just like you. The secret is how to prevent life from swallowing you up and living it unconsciously. I’m going to show you how to do this…
But first…
What do I mean by living it unconsciously?
Imagine being on a subway landing and just watching the trains go by...The many cars of trains keep stopping and then going by, by the hundreds and you are staring at the haze and blur. You really have to get some where, as a matter of fact, you are on your way to building happiness for yourself! You have to catch the number 6 train, but you’re so caught up in the haze and blur, (life) that you are not even aware when the number 6 train comes in. All you are conscious of is the haze and blur! Ultimately missing the train, so your entire day is wasted not going to where you wanted. This is what your life is like living life in a blur and missing the true signs of going on the right path.
Going in the right direction and being aware of the signs that you are going in the right direction is what I'm going to show you how to do!
How we live life...Missing the right train or the right path to where we want to go towards happiness… Some people call it our life's purpose.
You don't want to waste anymore time, because it is about time you got back on the right track and got out of the haze and blur of life.
I really hope you did your homework, because it is really worth it! I know it takes discipline; I know it takes patience! There is a part inside everyone that just doesn't want to take the time to going through the steps towards happiness. The part inside everyone has very little belief that life can get better, that part thinks we are suppose to go through unhappiness!
Ask yourself this, "Is that part of me that lives the unconscious life any fun?" You live life struggling trying to figure out why? You live your angers, your sadness, your depressions, nothing seems to be working out for you. Although you may have a great job, a wonderful family, a super spouse that does everything that you ever wanted.
BUT...You are still not happy.
IT could be because your emotions of the past, present and future are always in your way and you have fallen off that path. It may be that you need to just do a tiny change to get you back.
So…Let get started and get you back on track!
HOMEWORK
We have talked about breathing and doing this will quiet or calm ourselves down for 15 minutes in you away space.
This was the first step.
The next step in you away space is to just sit and don't even think. When you start to think...Drop the conversation you are having with yourself and go back to just sitting calmly breathing and paying attention. This is extremely difficult for some people to do, especially if they have lived inside their head for so long. People who find this difficult are probably the most unhappy. Usually the dialect that is going on in your head is meaningless and certainly is not important for the moment.
- How hard was this?
- What emotions did you feel?
- Where you relaxed after?
Don't forget to really search for that space, because it is only yours!!!
Keep your journal close to that space, so that it is right there for you to write your feelings in after.
The great option you have here is doing these steps and knowing you are on the way to happiness and your true path.

What is a feeling of true? It is doing what you want, what you need, what you desire and what makes you feel good.
Listen for a connection and search deeply within yourself paying attention. Once you understand the feeling of connection, you move forward in life and become more balanced in life. Thus moving forward to the path of HAPPINESS...

Proper Breathing --- Big Step to Happiness (Step 2)
Have you ever given yourself just 15 minutes in your day away?
- This is 15 minutes of completely uninterrupted time in your own away space.
- The key is to be comfortable with just YOU as company.
- That means that you have to find a place alone where no body will bug you, so by letting everybody know that you are busy and you are not to be disturbed. This includes phones, computer e-mail, etc!
- When you have kids there are interruptions all the time...You have to make sure that this 15 minutes in your day is yours.
This is your away time!
It really is only 15 minutes, but so many people have a difficult time finding it.
*If it is difficult ---Go to the bathroom and lock the door. Somehow people get it when you have to use the bathroom .--- You won't be disturbed.
Or
Do it 15 minutes before you get up in the morning or before you fall asleep.
What do you do in this space and time?
- Breath... Too many of us breath improperly and and that prevents us from getting full cleansing breaths. Instead breaths become short, too fast and not consistent.
- Practice breathing by PAYING ATTENTION...Sit or lie for 10 minutes and PAY ATTENTION to your breaths.
- Slow the breaths down and relax.
Be totally comfortable during the process.
This is actually where you will find you and the process of BEING just YOU!
It is enjoyable and exciting and even sometimes scary for the first timers.
You will get used to this time JUST BEING YOU.
NOW
Just before your time is up think of something that bothered you in the day or is just a pet peeve.
FEEL and PAY ATTENTION...
Your breathing has probably speed up and you have lost touch with relaxation.
Get back to breathing with 20 slow breaths. (1 is a breath in and out and)
I'm going to give you some Homework to do.
- Get yourself your own little note book or journal to call your own.
- Practice paying attention to your breathing during the day.
- Notice when your breaths change.
- When this happens get yourself back and remember to breath slowly to a count of 4 breaths (in and out counts 1)
- Write down when you felt your breathing changed in the day and why.
- Write down your experiences this week in your away space
- Find a perfect away space!
Life is what you make it.
If you make it to your 15 minutes of away space and time--- you are making a good step towards feeling better in your day and most importantly discovering who you really are!

The Hollow Tree STEP 1

Why would I label my Post 'The Hollow Tree' ?
I will frequently be using these kinds of metaphors so that YOU can get a better idea about the things I will be talking about.
Part of this post I'm going to talk about something that has nothing to do with who YOU really are, because we are only going to talk about the outside... The part that we can see.
Just like a tree, we can only talk about the outside, because that is all we can see. You are like a tree, you have a body that is basically the same as all other humans, just like a tree is... basically... like all other trees.
I don't mean to sound so disheartened about the nature of both the TREE and YOU, but when YOU put so much emphasis FIRST, on the exterior of something. YOU lose the concept of what is inside.
Like a tree, YOU don't know what is going on inside. YOU just see that the tree is nice or that it does all those things a tree is suppose to do. Like... take away pollution or give us shade. The tree is so much more than that... And it knows it.
I bet YOU worry all the time about what you look like... And about what YOU look like to other people, or about the kind of car you drive or the kind of house you live in. You may even get anxieties from the lack of this! OR maybe YOU worry about looking too old or to young or too fat or too thin...I could go on... This is not YOU...
How could this be you? YOU never worried when you were a tiny baby! YOU just needed to be cared for properly and loved. That is all.
YOU can't argue with that, although... you might want to. Your underdeveloped ego was not ruling the YOU then. It was the real YOU... Then something went terribly wrong...
Until one day someone who was mindlessly sitting and enjoying the tree, heard a thought or maybe it was a voice inside her head that said, " Please... I'm old... Cut me down!" and then a, "I'm afraid I won't be able to stand much longer."
Every time that that person sat under the tree she would hear the same thought. So finally she looked at the tree very carefully and saw that the animals that used the tree were going inside. It was HOLLOW in a big way.
Stress started to come to everything that encountered the tree. Even some of the creatures went and made new homes elsewhere. Less people enjoyed the tree, because the tree would leave so much mess from fallen bark and branches. Some people ignored the tree, while others started to pay attention to what they felt from the tree. More people started to see what was on the inside and felt the stress of the old tree. For the first time ever you could actually hear a wine that the tree was making. The tree believed if it didn't get cut down soon, it may not be able to hold itself up and endanger someones life. It cared.
Other people believed that they heard the same thoughts. One person listened so well that he heard the tree say that she would leave her baby to grow in her place. So after much contemplation between people, the tree was finally cut down.
Low and behold there at the bottom of the tree in a mess of sticks was a tiny tree growing in it's place.
NOW people feel good...Nobody really lost anything. They still feel the spirit of the old tree inside and enjoy NOW the new tree.
Had the tree been in a woods surrounded by nature then it would of just fallen on it's own and not had to communicate these feelings to humans. There is NOW a beautiful spirit of the old tree, with the baby tree there... YOU can feel it there and NOW YOU can feel it inside of YOU when I tell YOU this story. That is the real YOU that is feeling the feeling. YOU feel this and then it will touch the all of YOU. And then...YOU move on. I didn't have to describe the tree to YOU from the outside and YOU still felt feelings.
This is the way YOU need to change and PAY ATTENTION to what is BEING thought from the inside. Those feelings are what stops your thinking through your mind, but instead YOU mindlessly are absorbing the REAL YOU.
