Finding Happiness Within You

About the only thing in life that we all want and need is happiness.
If finding happiness within you is so far out of reach, it's really time to ask yourself a few questions.

Ask yourself:

  • Where is my happiness most in my day, week, month or year?
  • Who are the individuals that make me most happy?
  • What is the one aspect in my life that makes me sad?
Asking yourself these questions will give you a place to begin  in getting answers in your life that are preventing you from finding happiness.

Let's analyze these points and then we will put the next step to action.

Where is my happiness most in my day, week, month or year?
You might feel bombarded by everyday life, with schedules so tight you don't have time to think about what you want to do for yourself. You may be good at being successful in your career, caring for your family and feeding the souls of everybody else in your life but not so successful at finding the joy within yourself. Many stop at this point and come to an epitome realizing they are missing their pursuit to happiness, in search of peace.

Who are the individuals that make me most happy?
Who are the individuals that are around you?
Sometimes the people who are around you carry lots of negative in the air, this  can eventually invade your positive thought processes and lead you to confusion.  Negative thinking becomes a part of your life! Paying attention to  who is around you and the kind of mood and emotion that comes your way is a great way to dissipate the negative.

Be very conscious...Safe guard yourself by taking 3 deep breaths and move to another room. Get out of that space! If at all possible try to spend little time around the persons that spread negative your way. If they are family members it's time to seriously look at change.
Change the family routines, family meetings, couples counseling or family counseling.

What is the one aspect in my life that makes me sad?
This is a big one because sometimes you can't quite put your finger on what truly makes you sad.
Other times you have a list a mile long and cannot pinpoint what the sadness is.

Encourage yourself to look in the mirror and be honest. Say, "What makes me sad?"
You will see the sadness inside you and out. You may even cry...
Make sure that you have a pen and paper handy(some Kleenex too!) so that you can write down your answer.
The first thought that comes to mind, write it down.
The next thought write it down and finally 1 more time.
After assess what you have written and I promise you will know what your sadness is.
Sometimes not knowing or being overwhelmed with sadness creates kayos in your world, once you get in touch with this sadness you can take necessary steps to relieve your stress and sadness.
